Claire Corlett is a voice actress and singer in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Her most prominent role in the series is as Sweetie Belle's speaking voice. In season four onwards, Corlett is also Sweetie Belle's singing voice,[1] a role previously filled by Michelle Creber. She is the daughter of Ian James Corlett, who voices Silver Shill.

Corlett initially became involved with Friendship is Magic through her agent and had auditioned for Scootaloo in addition to Sweetie Belle. As part of her Sweetie Belle audition, Corlett sang Respect by Aretha Franklin.[2]

Corlett's voice often cracks when recording lines for Sweetie Belle, which she has stated in interviews is mostly unintentional.[3][4]

In Just for Sidekicks, Corlett is credited as "Clair Corlett." In Brotherhooves Social and Crusaders of the Lost Mark, she is credited as "Claire Corlette."

Outside My Little Pony, Corlett's professional credits include voicing Michelle in 3-2-1 Penguins!, Sally Brown in Peanuts Motion Comics, Tiny in Dinosaur Train, and Stacie in Barbie & Her Sisters in a Pony Tale. In live-action, Corlett played Francine Mabel in the TV movie Smart Cookies and Frannie in the independent film Last Night in Suburbia. She also produced the documentary short Bronies and Ponies: A Journey Through Equestria.
