Both are chat bots operated in chat. This is a discussion thread, not a vote thread, about the issue of these chat bots. Discussion topic is : Justification for the bots, and why they were operated without any formal talk first (as Flutterbot was). Icecreambot is a bot operated by Callofduty4. It has little commands, but it is very intelligent. It records all of the commands it does (even random characters like ∫). One problem is, people could spam over and over again the same command, spamming the chat. I would suggest like a "20 seconds per command per person", so it doesn't spam. They can do that with FlutterBot too, it has no spam control

In the ban summary, I see this: "Disruption to chat, Sock account, operating a bot without approval, breaking elements of harmony." Disruption to chat. ...How was the bot disrupting the chat? By sitting and being idle? That's no legitimate reason at all for something like this. And sockpuppeting - Can someone give me a log of the ban that Ozuzanna was trying to avoid with his bot? I understand the situation with Icecreambot, which I see has been resolved above, but there is absolutely no problem with Ozuzanna's bot account. It is not operating under any sort of automation and not meant in any form of deception. Here is the meaning of sockpuppet for reference for anyone that doesn't know. Icecreambot is being operated for amusement from what I understand. Everyone needs to chill out, honestly. It's not like we're a law firm or anything. We're a wiki. If Icecreambot was doing things like logging and kicking or banning people I would understand, but it's not. Food Foodbandlt 04:26, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
