Currently, {{Infobox character}} provides a kind parameter used, for pony characters, to indicate what type of pony they are: Earth, pegasus, unicorn, or alicorn. Human characters, on the list of Equestria Girls characters, also have a kind noted, one of Athlete, Comedian, Drama, Eco-kid, Fashionista, Rocker, Staff, and Techie (there's also a bunch labeled Undefined, but I don't know if there's supposed to be a difference between them and the characters without any kind listed). However, the infobox doesn't have any real way of showing this information: the obvious method, the kind parameter, is already used to indicate the character's a human. So, is this information actually worth noting in the infobox, and if so, hwo should it be presented - a new parameter, or just by reusing the kind parameter (something like |kind=[[Human]]<br />Eco-kid)? (I'll point out that multiple values in the kind parameter do already appear on some non-human character pages, e.g. Twilight Sparkle's page uses it to note that she is/has been an alicorn, a unicorn, and a human.) 「ディノ奴千？！」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 02:39, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
- I don't really see the practicality of this as the "Kind" parameter in the infobox is typically used to indicate a character's species. "Kind" on the List of Equestria Girls characters pages refers more to the characters' social class, which is more trivial than anything else.

- I figured it might be, though that raises the question of why an ultimately trivial piece of information has its own column in the EG character list table, rather than just being noted in the prose of the character's entry or relevant article. 「ディノ奴千？！」? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 03:12, November 1, 2015 (UTC)
- Probably because it was a semi-important plot point for the first film, and the list was made when that was the only one. If it wasn't relevant or even mentioned in the later films, I think it would be fine to remove it from the list and cover it in the prose. As for an infobox parameter, if it is important enough to show there, I'd just call the parameter "egkind" or something like that, since it's specific to EG. ~Bobogoobo (talk)
