MLP Wiki in other languages

Hello, I bring to your attention the following wikis. They are My Little Pony wikis in non-English languages, and none of thm are interlanguage linked to this wiki. (The correct interlanguage link is next to the name)

As the administrator of my own Wolfenstein Wiki, I recommend the non-linked wikis be interlanguage linked to this wiki, and to each other. You may only link one wiki of each language at a time, therefore, you must choose a French (fr), Russian (ru), and Chinese (zh) wiki.

I would not mind performing this action myself, as I do a lot of work to link languages of wikis together- check the Interlanguage link requests page, I'm all over. I will need an administrator's permission, however.

I'm not so sure. All of the wikis that you've linked seem to be entirely dead wikis. Why would we want to link and informational page to a dead wiki that the visitor will gain nothing by going to?  Food Foodbandlt  22:58, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Why are they dead? Because people don't know they exist. Why don't people know they exist? Because there's no interlanguage link. You can make arguments against linking all the languages (tbh both of the French wikis look pretty pisspoor) but in the end I feel it would be very beneficial to have, say, the Thai wiki linked here. After all, a Thai wiki with 49 articles is pretty impressive by itself. Maybe a Thai user on the English wiki will see it and begin to use it.

You have a lovely English wiki, so you have very little to gain, but you also have nothing to lost. The brunt of the benefit, however, will be felt by the foreign language wikis. Elecbullet (talk) 23:07, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd support linking the Thai one for amount of content and the Russian one for activity and also a good amount of content. I didn't look in depth so I don't know how good they actually are, but as you said, I suppose it can't really hurt to link them, and maybe that will also contribute to them getting improved. ~Bobogoobo (talk) 23:22, October 30, 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't notice that there was a reply. You don't need permission to link other language wikis, from my experience. And I agree, the Russian wiki seems to be the only wiki that's any sort of active.  Food Foodbandlt  02:35, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

I haven't seen anyone get turned down for interlanguage links for being of questionable authority. But if nobody's noticed I do this for a lot of Wikis. Check out w:Community Central:Interlanguage link requests- I'm behind every other one. So as not to look heavyhanded, I always ask permission from an admin of the English wiki, and post a link to that discussion with my requests.

Usually it's the bigger wikis (Doctor Who was troublesome) which pose objections, citing interlanguage link policies. Smaller ones like c:minecraft usually go smoothly- "hey admin, can I link these wikis? okay, cool I'll do that". I don't know if this wiki is big enough to seek a "consensus" on much of anything anyway. But I am not in the business of telling admins what to do. Elecbullet (talk) 03:38, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

Russian link made

As per the above discussion the Russian link has been added to this wiki. An administrator is necessary to add it to the Main Page.

Those are the interlanguage links, at the bottom of the source text. They only show up in the Languages section. Add a Russian link (next to last line):

Most wikis just leave it blank, which is acceptable for the Main Page, as it automatically redirects to whatever is the Main Page of the wiki. That would look like this:
