Starlight and Discord common ground[]
I don't think this'll be just an episode focusing on Discord's nonsense! Y'think we might get some common ground between Starlight and Discord, with their past with the Mane Six and their past on being villains? If we were to have a Starlight/Discord episode, it would be really nice if they shared common ground and it relates to the story in some way! --Mega Sean 45 (talk) 01:16, April 21, 2018 (UTC)
- Well, it'll be kind of interesting to see how things play out in this episode, because previously Starlight and Discord have actually gotten along pretty well, apart from some early suspicion on Starlight's part when she thought he might be a Changeling. As for common ground, I'm not sure how much I see; their motivations for villainy were entirely different, and they were redeemed in different ways as well. Fluttershy seems to have been the first creature ever to even try and show Discord kindness, whereas Twilight was able to convince Starlight to give friendship a second chance. Still, they're both a bit mischievous, so it could make things interesting; I'm also wondering how Discord will interact with the Young Six, given that it's likely they'll play at least a small role in the episode.--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 10:32, April 23, 2018 (UTC)

Taking place simultaneously with Friendship University[]
We haven't had one of these simultaneous episodes since season 5 with Made in Manehattan and Brotherhooves Social, it would be nice if they did it again here! Yeah, I know the episodes aren't close together, but the possibility is still there! It would explain why Twilight had to leave the school and leave Starlight in charge! Hey, since it would only be her and Rarity going, Spike could be Starlight's assistant for a change! Show her the ropes of what it means to be in charge of the school! Besides, no one knows Discord better than Flutters and Spike do, so they both could really help Starlight out in dealing with him! The artifacts[]
So...honestly found the artifacts introduced in this episode more interesting than the whole Discord vs. Starlight plotline. It would be interesting to learn what's so special about Clover's cloak-any Founders of Equestria info is always nice-but the others are even more fascinating. Judging by the portraits and naming conventions of the cloak, crown, and helm, I would assume that Aurora was a Hippogriff, Mirage a Changeling, and Knuckerbocker a dragon (the same or sharing its name with one from Daring Do and the Eternal Flower).
