Birthday present[]
Gummy might have been a birthday present for Pinkie Pie, if we assume he was given to her the day after he hatched.
What is Gummy?[]
He is called an alligator, but resembles a phytosaur more, and is closest in structure to an extremely early dragon/sea serpent depiction. My best guess is that he is a dragon of some sort.
- Don't forget to sign your posts dude. Anyway, so far as I can see Gummy appears to be a crocodilian of some sort, and in the style of the show it's certainly plausible that he's an alligator. - Weird part is in the comics, they actually have a few anatomically correct alligators. At least, there's one on page 11 of Issue 24 of the main series.
