Return to Hearth's Warming Eve
  • Some fans suspect that changes were made to the actual events to better fit the stage, time alotment, and possably even the modern sentiments of ponies in Equestria. Such areas of possible changes include:
    • The historical Commander Hurricane may have been a stallion.
    • The time-frame of finding a new land and the founding of Pegasopolis, Unicornia and Dirtville may have been much longer.
    • The flag seems to depict the modern Equestrian flag, rather than a historically correct one.
  • Each of the pony tribes seems to resemble a part of medieval feudal society: the earth ponies the peasantry, the pegasus ponies the warriors/knights, and the unicorn ponies the nobility and, in part, the priesthood.
    • They also resemble different European cultures: the unicorns resembling the English aristocracy, the pegasi have similar armour and the same architecture as the Greeks, and the earth ponies wearing clothing similar to that of the Spaniards
  • Since it's canon that the first three seasons happen within a year as of Princess Twilight Sparkle, and this episode happens during winter, it's likely that this happens after Fall Weather Friends and before Winter Wrap-Up (which were retconned as of Tanks For The Memories to happen in reverse order of their airdates).
As an addendum to these items, both Clover the Clever and Chancellor Puddinghead were apparently stallions rather than mares, like Commander Hurricane. Question is, why the change?--Kilmarnock228 (talk) 06:36, June 4, 2018 (UTC)

Other Ponies[]

So anyone else wonder how the other Pony breeds played into all this? Mainly the race from which Nocturn and the like came from and the Crystal Ponies; obviously the Seaponies and Changelings were doing their own thing if they were even around at this point. --Voltron23 (talk) 23:27, May 24, 2017 (UTC)
