Ever noticed that the noise the crowd makes just before and during the Mayor's speech at 04:05 does sound an awful lot like your good ol' regular human clapping sample? Compare that to the crowd applause scenes found in "The Show Stoppers" (following Cheerilee's invite to give it up for the contestants, around 19:15) and Twilight striking her hooves in joy ("Look Before You Sleep", e.g. at 06:35). Or, for extra verification, any of the scenes involving the Cutie Mark Crusaders' signature triple bump; Seems quite far off ...

The Thestrals[]
Probably my favorite aspect of this episode apart from Luna's return, though sadly underutilized. It really is odd: these guys show up pulling Luna's chariot and then take off for no apparent reason, never to be seen again. Did Luna just want a one-time grand entrance? Was that storm cloud really a vortex to another realm that only the Thestrals could transport her through, at which point they left upon being no longer needed?
