Here are some guidelines you should consider when writing an article about the show.

Before you begin

Make sure you have enough to write about. Avoid stubs, which are articles with very little information. If your topic does not feature extensively in the show, incorporate it to a relevant episode article or character article. Stubs should only exist in anticipation of a longer article.

Write from the point of view of the audience

You are writing about a work of fiction. Make sure you describe it as such, and avoid giving speculative descriptions from the point of view of "inside the universe" of the show. When writing about a character, do not write its fictional biography, instead make sure you describe events as they are seen in the show, without "filling in the gaps".

Be clear

Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Make the article progress logically from topic to topic. Keep the formatting simple and uncluttered. Start at the beginning. Remember, you are not writing a journal, a work of fiction, or a personal essay, so structure your article so the little flourishes don't get in the way. Formatting is important: if an image makes the text too cramped, try putting it in a gallery instead, or use the {{clr}} template to clear a space.
