Ian James Corlett is a voice actor in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. He provides the voice of Silver Shill, and he is the father of Claire Corlett, who voices Sweetie Belle.

When first brought into the series, Corlett auditioned for "all of the male roles" but received no callbacks. His involvement with the rest of the cast throughout the series was only through his daughter Claire.[1] When recording began for Leap of Faith, Corlett was finally cast in the show as Silver Shill.

Outside My Little Pony, Corlett has voiced characters in numerous animated series and films, including Dr. Wily in Captain N: The Game Master, Coconuts in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man and Rush in Mega Man, Goku and Master Roshi in Dragon Ball Z, Cheetor in Beast Wars: Transformers, Baby Taz in Baby Looney Tunes, Hugh Test in Johnny Test, Funshine Bear in Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-lot, Blinky and Sir Cumference in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Salem and Professor Geist in Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch, and various supporting roles in Ranma ½, Madeline, G.I. Joe, Mummies Alive!, Sonic Underground, and the Barbie film series. He is also the voice of Sly Cooper in the upcoming film adaptation of the Sly Cooper video game series.

In other animation work, Corlett is the creator of Being Ian, which is based upon his early life, and the co-creator of Yvon of the Yukon, for which he also writes and voices several characters. He has also written for The Little Lulu Show, Rolie Polie Olie, and Pirate Express, and he was a producer and ADR script writer for several early episodes of Dragon Ball Z.
