Magnet Bolt is a male background unicorn pony who appears in The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 1, The Fault in Our Cutie Marks and Parental Glideance. He has a bluish gray coat, red mane and tail, blue eyes, and a cutie mark of a horseshoe magnet. He first appeared as a female in merchandise.
Development and design
As a mare, Magnet Bolt shares her mane and tail style with Twilight Sparkle, Moon Dancer, S02E02 Unnamed Unicorn Mare #2, Sweetcream Scoops, and Lovestruck.
Magnet Bolt, as well as Cherry Spices, Electric Sky, "Rivet", and Barber Groomsby, was to appear in Boast Busters.[1]
Depiction in the series
In the season five episode The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 1, Magnet Bolt appears listening to Twilight Sparkle's Cutie Mark Magic lecture at the School for Gifted Unicorns.
In the season six episode The Fault in Our Cutie Marks, he appears watching Gabby play baseball during Find the Purpose in Your Life.
In the season seven episode Parental Glideance, he appears watching the Wonderbolts performing in their show.
Merchandise
A mini-figure toy and collector card of Magnet Bolt, as a mare, are included in the sixth and sixteenth waves of mystery packs. According to different versions of the first card, Magnet Bolt "attracts a lot of attention wherever she goes!" and "attracts attention everywhere." The second card states about Magnet Bolt, "She gets lots of attention!"
