Maurice LaMarche is a Canadian voice actor and former stand-up comedian. In My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, he provides the voice of Chancellor Neighsay.

LaMarche's involvement in the series was through season eight story editor Nicole Dubuc, whom LaMarche is friends with.[1]

Outside My Little Pony, LaMarche is well-known for his voice-over roles in various animated series, films, and video games, many of which have earned him awards and award nominations. Among his best known roles include Egon Spengler in The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters, Dizzy Devil in Tiny Toon Adventures, the Brain in Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain, Wakko Warner's belching double in Animaniacs, Calculon, the Donbot, Clamps, Walt, Morbo, H.G. Blob, Lrrr, and various others on Futurama, Big Bob Pataki on Hey Arnold!, Father on Codename: Kids Next Door, and one of the recent voices for Yosemite Sam in various Looney Tunes productions. In 2008, he voiced Doctor Nitrus Brio in Crash: Mind over Mutant and reprised the role in 2017's Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. LaMarche is also known for his role as Mr. Big in the 2016 Disney animated film Zootopia. In 2018, he joined the cast of the Netflix animated series Disenchanted as Odval, Big Jo, and other characters.

LaMarche is also known for his impersonations of film director Orson Welles, which he has provided for the film Ed Wood, The Simpsons, The Critic, Futurama, and most notably his role as the Brain in Pinky and the Brain.
