Michael Dobson is a voice actor in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. His most prominent roles in the series are as Bulk Biceps and Dr. Caballeron.

Dobson initially became involved in the series through his agent during a casting call for Dr. Caballeron in Daring Don't. When recording for Rainbow Falls began, Dobson was personally recommended for the role of Bulk Biceps through directors Jayson Thiessen and Jim Miller, with whom Dobson had worked on past projects.[1]

Dobson's portrayal of Bulk Biceps was originally more subdued; his over-exaggerated manner of speech was at the suggestion of Thiessen and Miller.[2]

Outside My Little Pony, Dobson has provided voices for characters in numerous animated series, including Lucas Amato in Cybersix, Blob in X-Men: Evolution, Starscream in several Transformers animated series, Rick Thunderbolt in Ōban Star-Racers, Mojo Jojo in Powerpuff Girls Z, Ronan the Accuser in Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes, Batman and the Joker in Batman Black and White, Forge Ferrus in Max Steel, and various supporting roles in Street Fighter, Dragon Ball Z, ReBoot, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, and the Barbie film series.

In live-action, Dobson has had guest roles in The X-Files, Sliders, Highlander: The Series, and Stargate SG-1. He has also provided the voice of Leonardo in Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation.

Dobson's brothers Paul Dobson and Brian Dobson are also prominent Vancouver voice actors.
