In Equestria Games, Sunny Rays briefly appears—with a darker coat color—as a spectator of the titular event at the Crystal Empire.

Mini-figures of Sunny Rays were released as part of the fifth, eighth, and tenth waves of mystery pack toys and collector cards, a European version of at least the earliest one of which states that she "is very bright!" and U.S. versions of the first two of which state that she "has a lot of bright ideas to share" and of the latest one of which state that she "has a lot of bright ideas!"
