Template documentation

Description: This template is used to mark pages for deletion, categorizing them in Category:Candidates for deletion. Discussion about a page's deletion should take place in the page's comment section or in the forum. Once consensus is reached, or when consensus can be assumed, an administrator may delete the page. A member of the image control group may delete the page if it is in the File or File talk namespaces (namespaces 6 or 7). For most maintenance tasks, consensus can be assumed and the page is usually deleted as soon as an admin or image-controller notices the deletion request.
Syntax: Add {{delete}} at the top of the page to be marked for deletion.; A reason may be given by specifying a single parameter: {{delete|<reason>}}.
