After seven seasons and one hundreds and fifty eight episodes, it finally happened. A background pony has made one hundred appearances in MLP: FIM with Triple Threat. Our first one to reach this achievement is none other than Shoeshine.
Since Season 1, She has had highlights of her own from wanting Twilight's extra ticket to insulting Fluttershy. She could be a high society pony in Canterlot or a cowpony in Appleoosa when the Mane 6 were visiting for an event or just to save the day. No doubt wherever, or whatever Shoeshine is, she'll be spotted among the crowd of other ponies in the background.
Shoeshine is only the first. From my count and observation, at least five to eight background ponies have a chance at making it to one hundred appearances this season. We have eleven episodes to go through, so we'll just have to see who joins this lucky pony and the main characters in this amazing feat.
