Tending to be a writer in adventure comedies, Josh Hamilton worked on shows primarily for Nickelodeon. These shows include Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012), However, he also wrote episodes for Voltron: Legendary Defender and Johnny Test.
Hamilton seems to be very versatile with his writing styles as he delivered three episodes of different theme and character direction. However, over the top would describe the scenarios Dashie’s parents, Spike, and Pinkie Pie put themselves through while the story pushes onward. This is a common trend with his work on other shows like Panda and Avatar. Both where action-adventure shows with humor that more than often when over the top. This is what writer for MLP needs when they need to balance the dramatic tension and the family-friendly humor, and Hamilton definitely earned his spot in the fans’ favorite lists’.
