Hey everyone! Thanks for being so patient with me, I just couldn't find enough free time to write new reviews until now, so enjoy this special treat! Here is my review of "Look Before You Sleep!" I hope you enjoy it and stay tuned for other reviews!

Yeah, yeah, spoilers.

Applejack and Rarity's roles: This episode makes me realize how much of opposites AJ and Rarity really are. Applejack is laid back and easygoing as well as partially uncivilized. Rarity is quite the perfectionist and obsesses over "every last little detail," as Applejack herself states. She is sophisticated while Applejack does things sloppily. This creates a tension between the two because they do everything so differently. In my opinion, Applejack and Rarity aren't terribly interesting to me in the first place, so they are just a little bland. I would say that I like Applejack better than Rarity. While Rarity is fussy and wants everything to be neat and clean, Applejack just decides to take life as it comes. I just like Applejack's attitude a little better. Also, while Rarity acts suave and fancy, Applejack just does what she wants. This more laid back attitude is what makes me like Applejack just a little more. Her personality is just more interesting to me, being the down-to-earth and wise-cracking pony she is. Rarity, on the other hand, just seems a little bland. Not perfect here, but they fit their characters at least.

Applejack and Rarity's performances: 7.8 / 10

The plot: This episode is one that I would only watch if I had really nothing better to do, or I'm showing it to someone for the first time. It's pretty basic, only following one simple plot line. Applejack and Rarity are caught in a lightning storm and must stay at Twilight Sparkle's home to wait out the storm. Twilight Sparkle has the idea to throw a sleep over, but Applejack and Rarity cannot settle their differences. It never seems to drag for me, but it isn't particularly exciting either. It doesn't feel rushed, but the plot is so basic that it would seem impossible to have a story like this be rushed. Because this episode was made around the time when the show was just making a name for itself, I can forgive the plot for being just a little cheesy. Other than that, I would say that this episode's story is only slightly above average. For me, there is just a little bit of charm to be had here. And the charm works, well, for lack of better word choice, like a charm.

The plot: 8.5 / 10

So without further waiting, let's see the score, shall we:

"Look Before You Sleep" Final Score: 8.2 / 10

Well, that's it for now. I apologize in advance if I take forever with my next review, so just be patient like you guys always do. I don't intend on ever making deadlines for these reviews, even for when I have the free time. I don't live on the wiki, contrary to what you might believe. I will try to post these whenever I can, and even if I have the free time to do so, sometimes I just won't feel up to posting a review. But anyway, enough about me for now. Be sure to give thanks to the user Launch Croctopus for requesting this one, and continue to keep up the support like you do! I guess that's it for now, so see you all soon!
