Here are my thoughts and predictions on the upcoming MLP season 6 episode "Where the apple lies". Here's the summary of the episode so far: "When Apple Bloom tells a white lie to cover up a mistake, Applejack shares the embarrassing story of how she came to value honesty following a series of lies that almost destroyed the farm and landed the whole Apple family in the hospital."
Now this is interesting in more ways than one. It looks like we're gonna get a backstory on how Applejack became known for being the element of honesty. That would be great because then we can see how Applejack became the charming, honest Earth Pony you see on the show today! And another thing, if you back to Crusaders of the Lost Mark, you may recall Applejack saying to Applebloom "If Mom & Dad were here, they'd be so proud of you." I bring this up because are people in the fandom that have been theorizing about "Applejack's Dead Parents" and have made pretty good guesses and asking many questions as to what exactly happened to Applejack parents, if anything. And when this episode airs, those questions may be answered. But for now, it remains a mystery. And the moral of this episode should be pretty obvious as well: "Don't lie". While that moral is pretty good, some people may disagree with that moral and say that it's only okay to lie as long as the lie is harmless, which if you ask me sounds pretty risky. But with that aside, this episode should give us an intesting in-depth story about Applejack and the Apple family we may have (possibly) never heard before!
