I'll make the "Let's Compare" blog for the Equestria Girls movies some time in the near future, but today, we'll be focusing on the sixteenth episodes. Here they are.
Made in Manehattan
All you need to do is to rank the episodes above from your favorite to least favorite. It's also appreciated if you give your thoughts on these episodes too.
Here's my ranking.
- It Ain't Easy Being Breezies: This is a very underrated episode that pits two opposites in the kindness spectrum in the form of Seabreeze (the overly mean one) and Fluttershy (the overly kind one) to deliver one of the best messages of the show about when to be nice and when to be harsh. That, and along with some nice worldbuilding makes this quite a delightful episode.
- Sonic Rainboom: This episode hits the right notes in terms of character development as it takes a look at Rainbow Dash's anxiety issues and Rarity's vanity, in addition to providing some great entertainment value with plenty of good humor to go by and a great climax.
- Made in Manehattan: This is a simple feel-good episode with a great message about how simple things can yield great results. In this episode's case, those great results concern the rebuilding of a sense of community that Coco's neighborhood once had, which makes a very good use of Applejack's simple family-oriented country mare background that nicely ties back to her arc involving her feeling of alienation in the big city. It's a good episode.
- Read It and Weep: A fun homage to Indiana Jones, it definitely delivers on entertainment value. The action in the Daring Do scenes were pretty entertaining, and the scenes with Rainbow Dash I found to be quite humorous.
