All you need to do is to rank the episodes above from your favorite to least favorite. It's also appreciated if you give your thoughts on these episodes too.

Now, on to my ranking list.

  1. Ponyville Confidential: What I found very interesting about this episode was how it took the CMC's innocuous desperation for their cutie marks into the business of spreading harmful gossips, showing how that desperation can lead to grave consequences that affect not just everyone else, but the CMC themselves. This episode also serves as an interesting examination of the readers' relationship with gossip columns, as we see how readers (represented by the Mane Six here) can tend to favor their pleasures in the gossips they read over he feelings of the gossip victims until they themselves become the subject of harmful gossips. Diamond Tiara also serves as a great antagonist with her utterly loathsome yet very entertaining personality that keeps me engaged.
  2. The Cutie Mark Chronicles: This is a fun and very charming episode about how all of the Mane 6 got their cutie marks. One thing I found quite impressive about this episode is how it manages to put together six separate stories and still manages to maintain a very good pacing throughout its runtime. Good on you, M.A. Larson.
  3. Inspiration Manifestation: This episode presents a great dilemma faced by Spike over whether he should call out on Rarity's (unconscious) actions to avoid further damage or just allow her to run rampant to avoid possibly ruining their friendship. It makes for a great conflict for Spike considering his relationship with Rarity throughout the show and just a great friendship conflict in general.
  4. The Hooffields and McColts: While I found parts of the episode enjoyable, I can't say that it really stands out for me. I thought the episode was just okay. However, one thing about this episode really stands out to me, and that's Fluttershy. I found the combination of her talent with animals and the assertiveness in which she has developed throughout the show pays off quite well at the end there.

So, how would you rank these episodes? Comment below and tell me what you think!
