There have been quite a few television/movie reboots in the past several years, with much more on the way: The Powerpuff Girls, Full House, Hey Arnold!, DuckTales, Rush Hour...
Which got me thinking: Let's say, for the sake of argument, that the current generation of My Little Pony and Equestria Girls was no longer profitable. The TV show/film series is over, and toy sales are declining. Hasbro needs another cash cow to milk dry, and their only hope is you!
You're given free reign to come up with a fresh My Little Pony/Equestria Girls concept with which to make a new series and merchandise. What approach do you choose? An epic adventure story with more mythological roots? A mystery drama spliced with bits of horror and suspense? A slice-of-life comedy ("if it ain't broke...")? Or be more experimental and introduce science fiction elements?
Wipe the slate clean, create a new universe, and go nuts!
