Who are going to be the new MLP ponies/characters coming out in 2016?
Season 6 of MLP Friendship is Magic comes out later this year (2016). I won't give any answers to this question. Readers: you decide!!!!!
It looks like Hasbro has a new map of Equestria [1]. That signals they are gearing up for MLP season 6-and about to introduce new MLP characters.

Two questions about MLP Fruendship is Magic
Question 1: Why did most of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic episodes take place primarily in two locations, Ponyville and Canterlot?
Question 2: If Hasbro promotes any future MLP television series, would they be spinoffs of Friendship is Magic (meaning they take place in the same universe, with the Mane 6 making cameo appearances if not being the primary cast)?
