It starts off with the Mane Six being summoned to Our Town, then Rainbow and Pinkie going to Griffonstone, then Rarity and Applejack going to Manehattan, and now we have Twilight and Fluttershy going to Smokey Mountains! Now at first in this episode I thought it was going to be farmers vs. capitalism, which probably would've been a more interesting story than disagreeing on whether to farm or build first. The animals playing a large role in the story was unexpecting. I guess that's why Fluttershy came along, and Twilight was needed to get everyone to listen.
Ok, to be quite honest, I don't have much to say about this episode because it wasn't that interesting to me. It was quite boring to me. I'm sorry. I mean it's interesting seeing ponies have a battle out and forgetting why, and then Twilight and Fluttershy has to stop it, but... it's nothing we haven't seen before to be honest. I think this story was too much like Over a Barrel - fighting for land because someone was in their way. Plus the moral was sorta repeated. We should work together instead argue? Isn't that Winter Wrap Up's moral, and Rainbow Rocks' moral?
There was a bit of humor in this episode, but none that made me chuckle. All it is is Twilight taking charge and thinking she'll be able to figure everything out. I knew Fluttershy was going to be the one to save the day. The whole ideal of the story, the execution of it, I kinda expected. That Ma Hooffield lady though, she really reminded me of Gopher from Winnie the Pooh! If she whistled every time she made an 'Ssss' sound, her character would've lighten the whole episode for me! XD
So yeah, that's all I really have to say about the episode. It's not much. I mean, I'm not saying this episode was bad. It wasn't bad. It was just... boring. But think of it this way: The Mane Attraction is coming next week! I'm pretty hyped for that! :D
