I need help on my Fanfic

Alright I am in the process of writing my first fanfic and i hit a road block i have twilight reading kinda like at the beginning of the series so she is the main character for lil bit and then it switches to another pony(and maybe again later in it) is it possible to write it all in third person or is their a very simple and easy way to make transition any help is good
