Well, here you are. The final chapter. I'll talk to you more in the credits, all right? Read the chapter first.

This story contains violence and other stuff that kiddies under the age of thirteen shouldn't be reading. Read at your own risk.

    (Candlekeeper’s POV)

Sometimes you forget what you are truly trying to accomplish. Time can do that to you. It wears down your mind and your thoughts. War and time increases this process my twofold. For some time now, I have sit alone in my quarters, staring at maps and at battle plans. The cold realization that scores of ponies had been felled in this three year long conflict. Three years, and what has been accomplished? Fifteen percent of the entire Equestrian Civilization has been wiped away like dust o…

You know what I'm going to say. This fanfiction has harsher language, violence, and other things that your mommy and daddy warned you about. Read this at your own risk.

    (Guildmaster’s POV)

“One year”. One year indeed. One year has changed everything. The whole dynamic of the war. Factions have fallen, the death count has escalated quickly. The entire land of Equestria has been ravaged by war. Perhaps even farther than the reaches of Equestria...I do not know. What I do know is this. I have done it, I’ve protected Celestia with everything I have. No faction nor anypony else for that matter has come even close to laying a hoof on her. With the alliance of Crimson and his masterful strategic mind, we wiped out the rest of the competition. Still…

Hmm....it's been a while, eh. Anyway, you know the jist of this by now. This fanfiction is full of terrible, terrible things. If you are under the age of 13 or whatever, turn around and read something happier. If you aren't, or you just ignored this disclaimer, read on at your own risk.

    (Unknown’s POV)

One side fights one or more other side, and they proceed to kill each other until one group reigns supreme. The trouble is: people always complicate war. They give them flashy names, they give them complex inner workings. They talk about battles of ideals, and how these two ideals clashes and le…

    (Blue's POV)

The rain continues to patter on the already swollen earth. It continues to fall from the sky, striking and soaking everything in sight. Nothing can escape the onslaught of liquid that assaults all and discriminates against none. I look up to the sky and the heavy drops sting my eyes, but I no longer flinch from them. There is no pain from the cold shock they grant me, only a dull ache. Ridding myself of mortal sensation is part of the training, part of the condition that I am being put through. Discord doesn't want weaklings fighting for him. He wants those that will never be shaken, those that will never back down from any challenge. He want…

I have since changed my way of viewing episode. I see the good with the bad, and that was a very good way to go through season 5. Yeah, there were some breakout episodes this season, but so many were just average. That isn't a bad thing, but it isn't a good thing either. It's just a thing. There were bad episodes like Made in Manehatten. There were good and even great episodes, like Mane Attraction, Amending Fences and Make New Friends but Keep Discord. But mostly, the season had many okay to average episodes. Sure, I felt the feelings and laughed more than other seasons, which is why Season 5 is by far my favorite. It was consistent, and I like consistency. So, I walked into the season finale with average expectations. I didn't see the pr…
