Moving Pages to Gummygugugaga as oppose to Gumballgugugaga Edit

Hi Oz its Gummy,

I just wanted to ask you if you could use your admin tool to move to change the name of my pages like User:Gumballgugugaga/sig and those to make it User:Gummygugugaga/sig.  I have numerous and if you click edit on my user page you can see the different pages attached to my user page.

Is this possible?

Main namespace Edit

What would the main pages be? Like blogs or articles or whatever else. And also if I go find a picture on the internet, how can ik if it's on this site or not. Is there any easy way to do that?

Main pages would be Fluttershy, Luna Eclipsed, Lyra Heartstrings etc... blogs and talk pages are not in the main namespace. Usually the image URL tells you if it's from this site.  Oz 22:51, May 20, 2013 (UTC)

i was banned Edit

i was banned till tomarrow for constantly disrupting, i dont understand why, the person who banned me was demon but he just banned me without even kicking me first, i was accused of sockpuppeting when i didnt understand the rule and made another account because i didnt know how to change my account name and that account was banned. can you please revoke the ban or at least have him explain exactly what i did, he didnt even warn me. Why was I banned?Edit

Template:Infobox_ComicEdit

Was there any particular reason why this was deleted before I had a chance to finish putting the template together? I was trying to put together an infobox template for use when cleaning up the MLP IDW Comic Article, dear god that is one very long wall of text. Chat not working Edit

Hey, is chat still working for you? I was on about 10 minuets ago. I lagged out and now it won't let me get back on. It loads chat but no one appears and no writing appears either. I hope this fixes soon!

Chat Rules Edit

Hello there, it has come to my attention that there may be some confusion within the chat rules. A user earlier today confronted us (the users in chat) about the no swearing rule. When asked where it says it in the rules, all I could personally find is this: '

• Do not post, link to, or talk about content with excessive harsh language, sexual conduct, or violence, whether censored or not. This includes creepypastas and gorefics.

Now, the confusion here is that most moderators don't allow bad language at all. So, the excessive can be misleading.

Suggestion for a new page Edit

It would be a lot simpler if you created a page on rules for uploading files. Not only is it easier, it also saves time on sending a message and waiting for a response; only to have the response a bit difficult to understand. 86.45.179.61 19:23, June 3, 2013 (UTC)

Question regarding deletion. Edit

You deleted the page "Element of Harmony" on the bases of "Housekeeping: We don't do disambig on the wiki. Also the disambig reasons are way too similar; either way, I don't think it's needed". I am unsure if this question is pertinent, but please tell me :

• We don't do disambig, ok, I can understand that is would be marginal or too heavy to deal with ; but how are the differences between both articles so little  ? Should they not be merged, or redirect to each other – with For... on top, which is the case for neither of them ?
• How could I know if a redirection is not needed ? We have them for quite a few cases and this seemed to fit.
• In this particular case, where should the page have let ?

The page could redirect to Elements of Harmony; that slipped my mind at the time. And yeah come to think of it they're not pretty too similar xD. You're right about the main ponies who could possibly express them though, but myself I can barely see that happening. I don't think they should be merged - they're all quite long written articles, it might be better off leaving the elements grouped together. But this is just my point, feel free to ask another admin or make a forum if you're still wanting answers. And to your last point, I think it should be a redirect now, if you would like to make that go ahead.  Oz 22:55, June 4, 2013 (UTC)

Apparent Vandalism Edit

Hello, Ozank. It's me, ShadowLurker343. I have made a new account and thus my signature has also changed. So, all I did was with this account, go onto the forums I had commented on and changed my signature. Accroding to Nitz X this is vandalism and against the policy and undone my edit. I put it back to my signature and deleted his talkpage message on my wall as it is kinda over the top. All I did was swap my signatures round to the current one to save confusion.

Not at first, but when I explained the situation to him on Skype and tried to make him understand. He failed to understand and told me that if I change them again, he will report me for vandalism. But, I changed them again anyway. Confident that it's not vandalism.  TheOriginalCrumpet  

Animated images category Edit

Hi Ozank, I have a question: if a fanmade file uploaded to the Wiki is an image taken from a GIF or something, does the "Animated images" category apply? Heh I was about to put a message on your talk regarding this after my edit but you bet me to it :P. Well as far as I know, we add any .gif image to the Animated images category (whether they be fanmade or not, or not actually animated but are still .gif). Unfortunately, once you've uploaded images, you can no longer rename them. However, if you want them renamed, you can request this by putting {{File rename}} on their file page (which can be gotten to by clicking on them, and then clicking the link that appears in the pop-up.
